Our 1st Warehouse - an unheated empty room at Baldwin Steel in Jersey City, NJ.1976
Eric Bershad, founder of Phillip Jeffries Ltd. when he first began importing grasscloth.1976
Susan Bershad, co-founder of our company as she and Eric setup the first showroom in Livingston, NJ.1977
A true Mom and Pop business, Eric and Susan Bershad along with Eric's Mom, Mildred Bershad Fuerstman worked at the first retail store in 1977.1986
Founder Eric Bershad, celebrating the 10th anniversary of his company, which was then called Wallpaper Imports. For those that don't remember, 1986 was all about mauve and grey!1994
In 1994, Eric took Jeffrey to his first tradeshow, Neocon in Chicago. Jeffrey was only 17 at the time but was already hooked on this industry.2001
Philip joins the family business, travelling near and far promoting Phillip Jeffries Ltd.2003
Jeffrey joins the family business. Now father and both sons join forces to take on the wallcovering world.2005

2007
First feature editorial in Fairfield County Home highlighting Philip and Jeffrey Bershad together as the new generation of PJ Ltd.
2008
Phillip Jeffries expands its NJ headquarters, doubling the space to over 20,000 sq. feet. The new headquarters houses a beautifully redesigned to-the-trade showroom, larger internal work space & expanded warehouse facility.2009
In the summer of 2009, Eric Bershad promoted his two sons, Philip to President and Jeffrey to CEO. Eric who is still active in the company remains Chairman of the Board.2011
PJ Ltd. NJ showroom gets a facelift! New products and new design tools make for a fabulous resource for NJ designers.2011
